Working in Collections
I prefer to work in collections as it provides space to explore and develop a particular theme and offers a rhythm to create a depth and greater refinement of process. My collections are mostly in long form projects.
Singing the blues
Blue, the world’s favourite colour. Fostering a sense of calmness, serenity, peace, this collection celebrates Mother Nature with the Cyanotype process. First mixing the chemistry, then hand coating a well chosen paper and exposing the negative to Sunlight. Once washed and dried the prints take on the deepest of Russian blues through to sky blue.
